LEVEL 5 WATER RESTRICTIONS

Gardens
Bucket only Sundays 12 noon to 1 pm. Concessions will be considered for the elderly whereby a hand held hose may be used as an alternative.

Lawns
Not allowed including sowing lawn seed and installation of new turf.

Recycled water, bore water and water used for testing fire systems, fire fighting and related activities are excluded from restrictions
Homeowners with bores are encouraged to use waterwise practices when operating bores, eg minimise water losses due to evaporation by watering prior to 8am and after 7pm. It is also recommended that owners erect a sign notifying that bore water is in use.
Using water from a rainwater tank
Provided it is not connected to or topped up from Council's water supply system is allowed.
