	Objective
	I was elected to Council in 1995 and became Deputy Mayor in 1999 until 2004. I was again elected Deputy Mayor in 2008. My objectives over this term of Council are to: Secure Orange's water supply Raise the Suma Park Dam wall Increase rain water tank rebates Oppose the sell-off of Orange parks Re-introduce the community committee system Support the re-establishment of the Pensioner Rates Rebates Support a back to basics approach to the maintenance of our roads, footpaths, parks and gardens Fast track traffic lights at the intersection of William Street and Bathurst Road and at the intersection of Cox Avenue and Bathurst Road Fight to protect our heritage buildings Continue to support business and industry growth and development Support crime prevention programs Support our aged and disabled citizens
