Management Plan

The history of the Orange area, even before the official establishment of a municipality in 1860, is one of progress through community cooperation, involvement and consensus. It is this history that best explains the enviable development of our community, it's area, facilities and enterprises.

By the early 1990s the Council felt it was becoming necessary to formalise strategic planning and budgeting processes. This would enable a more outcome orientated focus on all tasks, achieving results through team work which involved elected members, staff and divisions.

The  Management Plan 2007-2010 [1.44MB] which has evolved from these community, internal and external pressures relates specifically to what Council does ... what results it achieves.
