Orange is rich in cultural attractions.


The Orange Civic Theartre hosts a diverse range of concerts, musicals, plays and performances, including Bell Shakespeare, Sydney Symphony, Oz Opera and the Orange Theatre Company.


The Orange Regional Conservatorium produces over 40 public concerts each year in which professional, student and amateur misicians enrich our cultural life.

The Orange Regional Art Gallery hosts over 30 exhibitions annually including major state and national exhibitions such as the Archibald Prize.

A number of fine professional artists reside in our region and their work can be seen at various galleries, cafes and cellar doors.

The villages of our region are home to a number of museums including the Age of Fishes Museum in Canowindra and the Golden Memories Museum at Millthorpe. Some villages, such as Carcoar and Millthorpe, are considered "living museums".
