DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION LODGED FOR FORMER MYER SITE:Proposed development at former Myer site

A new development application, to demolish parts of the former Myer site, to make way for a new shopping complex has been lodged. 

A development application has been received by Orange City Counci, lodged by developer Alceon Group Pty Limited, and is on public exhibition until January 29.

ORANGE SET TO WELCOME INTERNATIONAL BATON RELAY: Queens baton passes through Orange

Final preparations are under way for the stopover by the Queen’s Baton Relay in Orange.

AUSTRALIA DAY BREAKFAST AND PARTY IN THE PARK:  Austrlia Day party in Cook Park

Spend Australia Day in the country's most beautiful city park, Cook Park. 
Have a breaky barbecue put on by the Lions Club of Orange Canobolas then stroll through the market fair. 
There will be rides for the kids, a monster raffle, face-painting, dance performances, a vintage car fair, a citizenship ceremony, best dressed competition as well as the NSW local citizen of the year presentation ceremony.
