Heritage Walks & Drives

Discover the unique heritage of the Orange district by following one of 20 marked driving trails, or by leaving the car behind and walking some of Orange's most beautiful streets.

Walking Trails

The Orange Heritage Trail connects key historic sites and buildings.

These are only a sample of some of the beautifully restored, historic houses and buildings that you will discover on the walk.  The walk starts from the Orange Visitor Information Centre and proceeds up Byng Street, taking approximately 1.5 hours to complete.  Along the walk you will encounter a series of interpretative signs that will give you additional information.
