Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac and backing onto a reserve, Yarrawong Children’s Centre provides caring and supportive care for your children in a natural learning environment.
Yarrawong is open 50 weeks a year (so school holidays are not a problem) from 8am to 6pm, catering for 61 children from 0-5 years of age. Each child has an individual learning program, is provided with nutritious meals and a balance of indoor and outdoor play.
We focus on learning about the community (diversity), the environment (sustainability) and the world around us through innovative learning experiences.
We also provide opportunities for parents and staff to collaborate on ideas to extend the program. You and your family are valued contributors at our centre.
Yarrawong has a dedicated pre-school program and room for 4-5 year old children, with the advantage of long-day care hours and holiday care.
Our outdoor play area - with real grass, lots of garden area and natural shade - gives children the opportunity to explore, providing many learning opportunities.
We are next door to the Orange and District Early Educational Program (ODEEP) an early intervention service. We also offer pre-school eye and dental screening and are a Cancer Council Sun Safe accredited centre.
