Orange City Council has completed an expansion of the Orange Airport to cater for larger aircraft, including Cadia Valley Operations flights, to significantly improve airport capacity.
The expansion has also enhance the facility’s ability to function as a hub for a range of aviation related activities.
Additional benefits would include:
- the generation of new employment opportunities,
- potentially extra passenger flights,
- increased training opportunities,
- increased opportunities for additional charter services,
- the potential to improve connections to support the health, education and tourism sectors and
- expansion of existing aviation businesses.
