The Orange Christmas Carols Concert is a community-based event that celebrates the Christmas season through artistic, musical and other celebrations.

The event is aimed at producing an exciting event, following environmentally sustainable work practices and one that would involve local performers showcasing their talents and complementing professional performers.

In past years the Carols by Candlelight event was held in Robertson Park, although the more popular site has been the North Court of the Civic Centre precinct, bordered by Peisley and March Streets.
