Suma Park Dam upgradeSuma Park Dam wall

Orange Regional MuseumMuseum design

Work is almost completed on the new   Orange Regional Museum. The $8 million project has attracted federal, state and local council funding and construction work began in the 2nd half of 2014. An opening event is being planned for October 2016.

Proposed Orange Airport Business Park

Orange City Council is proposing to develop a business park around the Orange Airport.

PENDING :

Car Park ConceptAnson Street Car Park

Property developers and investors will be taking a close look at the proposal to build a multi-level car park and retail development on the site of the Anson Street car park, following a decision by Orange City Council. This project is at a very preliminary stage and is available here for discussion and research purposes..


COMPLETED :

Airport ExpansionOrange Airport

Work has been completed on the $18.9 million expansion of the Orange Airport. .

Macquarie PipelineMacquarie River

Construction work on the pipeline began early in 2014 and was officially opened in July 2015.  It is in the final stages of commissioning.

Earlier, State Planning Authorities gave their approval for the project and federal environmental authorities have also given their approval.

The Environmental Assessment for the 39 kilometre water pipeline from the Macquarie River to Orange engaged with many residents, organisations and government departments which took the opportunity to make comment.
