Orange City Council and a Community Committee organises a community celebration each year to mark Australia Day.
The community celebration will be held in the historic Cook Park (The park is bounded by Summer, Clinton, Kite and Sampson Streets)

Community Citizenship awards are presented each year to reccognise the efforts and commitments of local residents.
The awards are presented in a number of categories.
Nominations are invited from any resident who wishes to raise a name for consideration.
