If you are a carer, person with disability or frail older person, we invite you to consider our range of services designed to maintain and enhance your quality of life while still living in your own home.

At Choices at Home we take the time to help you select the right service that fits your lifestyle.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels provides home delivered nutritious meals, up to fivMeals on wheels pice days per week Monday - Friday. Special dietary needs can be catered.

Frozen Meal Services

Frozen Meal Service provides a large selection of inexpensive frozeFrozen meal picn meals available for pick up or delivery. Special dietary needs can be catered.

Shopping Service

The Shopping Service can assist you with your  grocery shopping, bilShopping Service picl paying and visiting the bank or chemist. We’ll even unpack your groceries with you!

Community Restaurant

The Community Restaurant provides lunch at a variety of local venues. Enjoy tCommunity Restaurant piche opportunity for a meal out with friends. Transport can be arranged

Telecare

If you are living independently at home, each morning you will receTelecare picive a phone call to make sure you are well and to have a quick chat.

Home Visiting

Home Visiting is a relaxed and social experience, you and our registeHome Visiting picred volunteer can chat, share a cup of tea or take a short walk around your home and gardens.

Minor Maintenance

The Minor Maintenance Service includes lawn mowing, minor home maiMaintenance picntenance and gardening services.

 

 

Group Activities

Group Activities include affordable trips to local and nearby attractionGroup Activity pics and events, plus a broad range of activities to suit your interests; including craft, a men’s group and yoga.

ABOUT CHOICES AT HOME STAFF:

The Community Development and Support Coordinator oversees these services and is located in the Home And Community Care (HACC) building at 286 Lords Place. The postion provides support and supervision to the Ageing and Disability Services Team and is responsible to Council for the management of the Home and Community Care Centre.

The Community Support and Resource Officer provides information to members of the target group who are seeking support.  She is involved in the identification of needs in the community and assists in the development of appropriate services in response to identified need. Facilitating and partipating in several committees, this position is the link between the Ageing and Access Community Committee and the Council (see below).

The Ageing and Access Community Committee is a Council led committee that provides a forum to raise issues relating to older people and people living with disability. The committee supports the provision of accessible facilities in Orange and encourages members of the community to bring to the attention of Council any access issues that may then be addressed at a Council level.
