LEP & DCP Amendments

From time to time Orange City Council aims to engage with the community about proposed changes to the Local Environmental Plan (LEP) and the Development Control Plans (DCP) which apply to new housing areas.

Current Amendments

Amendment 9 ~ Orange Airport Business park

The NSW Department of Planning and Environment has accepted a revised proposal for

a business park at the Orange Airport and Orange City Council is seeking comment on

the plan.

The proposal will be on exhibition for 28 days until 5pm 31 January and can be

found at On Exhibition for Public Comment and EOI

Initially Council proposed a 300ha business park and following feedback from the

community, the department and neighbouring councils the proposed site has been

reduced to 114ha, with a yield of approximately 75ha of services lots.
