2018 Community Strategic Plan
The Community Strategic Plan is Orange City Council’s chief planning document and financial blue-print.
It aims to outline the aspirations and needs of the Orange community together with expected levels of service alongside financial modelling, asset management strategies and projected resources.
The Community Strategic Plan is a 10 year plan to guide Council and community activity. It is a State legislative requirement to develop this plan which will provide the community with a blueprint for its long-term growth, community development and infrastructure renewal.
The plan was developed in consultation with the community, Councillors and Council staff.
Delivery and Operational Plan
The Delivery / Operational Plan details the specific income & expenditure parameters for the 2017/18 financial year, while also charting financial management strategies for the next 4 years.
Fees and Charges
This document contains the Fees & Charges charged to provide a range of council services. These fees come into force from 1 July 2018.
Long Term Financial Plan
The Long Term Financial Plan puts other planning documents into a longer 10 year context.
Workforce Management Plan
The Workforce Management Plan outlines the Orange City Council’s staffing strategies for the next 3 years.
Asset Management Strategy
The Asset Management Strategy is the document which outlines council-wide plans for the next 20 years to provide for :
- the long-term replacement of major assets
- the delivery of new assets and
- the renewal or upgrading of existing assets to meet service delivery objectives
Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS)
The draft REDS document was adopted by Orange City Council in June 2018.
Both the Strategy and Supporting Analysis have been developed with the support of the NSW Government as part of the Regional Economic Development Strategies program to assist local councils and their communities in regional NSW.
