Anson Street After School Care
Anson Street After School Care is a Vacation Care Support Program designed for secondary students, 12 years and over with a disability and moderate to high support needs. After School Care operates from Anson Street Public School during term times and during school holiday periods.

- High staff to student ratios with a minimum of one staff member for every three children.
After School Care: $23.00 per session
Vacation Care: $48.00 per session
Child care benefit (CCB) is available to all eligible families.
Transport to and from the service is NOT provided.
Parents are responsible for the provision of transport. However, for After School Services, students currently accessing the Department of Education’s special transport service, are able to change their drop off address to the Teen Time Program.
Accessing the Program
To be eligible for the program, the student and family must meet the following criteria:
- Secondary Student (12years and older) with an intellectual disability and moderate to high support needs.
- Parents of a student with a disability who work or are actively seeking employment.
- Parents of a student with a disability who are studying or intending to study to gain employment.
How to gain a referral
Referrals to the Teen Time program can be obtained by contacting the ADHC information, referral and intake team on 1300 134 450 (toll free)
Who can ask for a a referral :
- Case Managers
- Parents and/or Carers
Once a referral has been received, the Respite Coordination Group will determine eligibility for the program against the program guidelines. Families will be notified of the group’s decision to accept or decline the referral in writing.
