Out of School Hours care (OSHC)

286 Lords Place, Orange
 02 6393 8600

Orange City Council Out of School Hours Care Services operate before and after school care during school terms, and Vacation Care during school holidays and Department of Education pupil free days.

These services are for infants and primary school children aged five to twelve years, and provide a secure and happy place, ensuring the well-being of your children.

Before and after school care allows children an environment to get ready for the school day, or to wind down after school.

Vacation Care provides fun-filled, safe care in an education and care setting during the school holidays.

The programs are devised with the participation and input of children attending and include a variety of activities, experiences as well as excursions to local and outlying locations.

The programs all link to the My Time Our Place Framework for School Aged Children. You can find out more about this program here and here.

Our services are inclusive and are accessed by children from a range of schools in the area, and are approved for the Government Child Care Subsidy for the assistance of parents who qualify.

Parents are welcome to visit, provide suggestions, and contribute to the programs.

Orange City Council also operates out of school hours care for teenagers with disability at the Anson Street School.
