Award-winning pianist Tonya Lemoh presents a masterclass for HSC and AMEB Students.

International pianist Dr Tonya Lemoh has worked as an associate artist in Europe, Australia and America, accompanying and collaborating with singers and instrumentalists. Here is your opportunity to get receive feedback and inspiration before your AMEB and HSC exams.

Award-winning pianist Tonya Lemoh holds performance degrees from conservatoriums in Australia, the US and Denmark, and completed her Ph.D at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, Australia. She has extensive international performance experience as soloist and associate artist, having appeared in recitals, festivals and concerto performances in Europe and America. Prior to her position as lecturer on the piano faculty of the University of Copenhagen for ten years, Tonya was staff accompanist at the Boston Conservatory of Music. During her time in Boston she enjoyed collaboration with vocalists and instrumentalists, working in the capacity of associate performer, vocal coach and repetiteur. A keen interpreter of new music, she has performed in international new music festivals in Australia and throughout Scandinavia, and was a former member of the Nordlys Quartet. Tonya has performed and recorded for ABC Radio, Danish National Radio and Danish television. She has released several critically acclaimed recordings, the latest being the complete works of Australian composer Raymond Hanson, released by Grand Piano label, Naxos. The album received a five star review and was selected as Editor’s Choice in Limelight magazine, May 2021.
