The panel discussion will be led by the President of Orange Business Chamber. Joining on the panel is Co-owner and head chef of Tonic, Tony Worland. Tony and Nicole Worland opened Tonic in 2003 after their move to Millthorpe, just south of Orange. Working for Gordon Ramsay, Michael Manners and Matt Moran, it’s no surprise that Tony has won Tonic a regular spot on the chef’s hat list for the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide awards.
We will also be hearing from Madeline Young-Holborow who is the Owner of The Corner Store Gallery. When Madeline was an emerging artist she found there was nowhere in Orange to exhibit her work. After a great idea from her mum and renovation help from her dad, The Corner Store Gallery opened in 2014. The Gallery hosts a range of emerging and well-established artists from all over Australia. Local artists also offer makers’ workshops in macramé, knitting, floristry, basket-weaving and watercolour painting.
Learn from Melissa Westcott who is not only an official Facebook Trainer, but is also Founder of both TM3 Training Solutions and Big On Shoes. Melissa has grown from a small home-based online store to a national e-commerce website and two retail stores. Melissa is a successfully business woman and small business advocate, as well as your guide into the world of social media marketing for business.
Managing Your Business on Facebook and Instagram
This introductory workshop helps you get your business started on Facebook and Instagram, including how to manage your Page on a day to day basis using your mobile phone or laptop. It covers the Pages Manager App, posting content, planning & scheduling posts, messages & Messenger, and some basics on Insights.
Getting Creative with Your Mobile
Creating impactful visuals for your business helps you cut through the noise and captures the attention of customers. This workshop focuses on some simple principles for creating engaging content, provides some practical creative tips and tools and explores how Instagram and Facebook differ.
