Orange Regional Museum – School Holiday Activity: Rogues and Rascals

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on January 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm

We need your help to identify a criminal suspect on the streets of Sydney! We’ve got their description on file, but a clumsy constable has lost their mugshot. Using the description we have left, we’ll construct an ‘identikit’ image of the suspect and talk about how and why mugshots have been used since cameras were invented to record and identify criminal suspects.

This program is suitable for kids aged 6+ years. Content from the exhibition presented by our educators will be moderated for a younger audience.

Requirements and Conditions

Bookings are essential via Eventbrite and spaces are limited.

Please note that children and their work are sometimes photographed during our workshops. Images may be used for promotional purposes on Council’s website, social media or publications. By attending the workshop, you are agreeing to these terms. If you would prefer that your child was not included in these photographs please let us know at the beginning of the workshop.

Underworld: Mugshots from the Roaring Twenties is a travelling exhibition from Sydney Living Museums, presented by Orange Regional Museum until 1 March 2020.
