The Orange Running Festival will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of March 2023.

The festival caters for all ages and abilities with varying distances and events that will suit both runners and walkers alike.

On Saturday we kick off with our Orange Mile program of events consisting of a 1 and 1/3 laps or 1.6 kilometres of the Gosling Creek bike/running track (asphalt track). The Orange Mile events will include the competitive Junior, Womens and Mens events as well as, and in another first for the successful Orange Running Festival, the inclusion of a new Orange Community Mile.

The new event, the Orange Community Mile is a one-mile community running and walking race and will complement the existing Men’s, Women’s and Junior Orange Mile races. The Saturday afternoon program will include food and beverage stallholders plus entertainment and additional children’s activities making for a fun, family orientated afternoon with live running action! This project was possible after receiving grant funding from the Australian Government and Orange City Council.

Leading into the Sunday program the festival takes on larger distances with the 5km, 10km, half marathon (21km) and marathon (42km) along a scenic, sealed, gently undulating course throughout the cool climate region of Orange.
