Science in the Library Kitchen – School Holiday Workshop

Join us for a Summer Holiday treat that you can make all by yourself, under the expert instruction of our library culinary boffins.  We will be exploring the scientific principles of gas expansion (using popcorn) and melting points (using chocolate). What a delicious way to learn!

Children will be using chocolate and corn in this recipe. Parents whose children have food allergies must consider the appropriateness of this activity.

We are running three sessions of this activity:

• Monday 4 January 2021 – 10:00am-12:00pm
• Monday 11 January 2021 – 10:00am-12:00pm
• Monday 18 January 2021 – 10:00am-12:00pm

Please only book each child into one of these sessions, as numbers are limited.

This activity is designed for children aged 8 and over.

Tickets are essential and registration will be available from Monday 28 December 2020 at 7:00pm
