Star Mappers: School Holiday Workshop

September 30, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$5.50

Join us this school holidays to explore the stories and shapes found in the night sky.

We’ll explore twinkling constellations and ancient cultures through stunning images of the night sky. We’ll then use these as inspiration to draw and build our own star maps, before creating a night sky geoboard to take home.

This activity includes a short guided visit to ‘Mulaa Giilang: Wiradjuri stories of the night sky’.

Suitable for kids aged 6+. This activity is designed for children to be dropped off at the beginning and picked up at the end of the session.

Bookings are essential for either of the two sessions – Wednesday 28 September 10am-11.30am and 1pm-2.30pm.

Tickets are $5.50 each, available via https://starmappers.eventbrite.com.au
