Stargazers Morning – School Holiday Activity
October 4, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free
Join us on the Museum’s iconic grass roof for a family-friendly morning of daytime stargazing.
Come along to our Stargazers Morning to take a peek into space.
Members of the Central West Astronomical Society will be set up with their telescopes to help you gaze out into space and safely view our Sun, planets and bright stars.
We’ll also have some family friendly craft activities set up, and a pop-up Library full of stories about the night sky, space and First Nations science and culture. Make sure you also visit the Museum while you’re here to visit our free exhibition Mulaa Giilang: Wiradjuri stories of the night sky.
Pop in for as long or as little as you like. This activity is suited to families of all ages, and is free to drop in.
Tuesday 4 October 10am – 12 noon.
This is a FREE event, and we ask you to book a ticket. This will give us an idea of how many visitors we can expect and means we can more easily get in touch if we have to change our plans due to inclement weather.
Book online at: https://ORMstargazers.eventbrite.com.au
