hool holiday activitiesHelp scientists by documenting the wildlife in the Orange City Council area from the 25 – 28 September 2020.
The aim is that over the 4-day period everyone tries to gather as much biodiversity data as possible in the Orange Council area using the Inaturalist App.
It is a simple to use and freely available app for any smart phone, desktop or tablet that allows you to take images and record GPS coordinates and notes on any species you find, it will also help to accurately document the species.
Gather your friends, family and visitors and get out into our beautiful natural environment and document all the biodiversity you can find!

Council is also hosting Bio Blitz Walk and Talks on Saturday morning at the Orange Botanic Gardens. Attendees must RSVP via Eventbrite. 

Come along to the gardens for the Walk and Talk and learn about the many different species in the Orange area and learn how to use the INaturalist app to participate in the Great Southern Bioblitz!
