Opened in 2016, Orange Regional Museum is an award-winning museum dedicated to sharing engaging exhibitions and diverse public programs for audiences of all ages. It interprets objects of significance for our local history and the history of the broader Central West region.
Located in a striking purpose-built building within the vibrant Orange cultural precinct, the Museum is a locus for visitors and local audiences alike. The Museum showcases long-term and temporary local history exhibitions alongside a program of the best travelling exhibitions from across Australia, presenting diverse topics including history, science, technology and culture.

Open 9am-4pm daily (closed 25 December).
Entry to the Museum is free. Group visits are welcome, but please contact us to make a booking for groups of 10 or more.
Facilities
Bathrooms, including disabled and baby changing facilities, are available on site.
Parking is available in front of the Museum on Byng Street and in the Council carpark accessed from Lords Place. Larger vehicles (including buses) can find parking on Peisley Street.
Accessibility
The Museum is fully accessible for prams and wheelchairs. A courtesy wheelchair is available for use.
