Orange Regional Museum gratefully accepts financial donations and donations of objects to our collection. Your donations, no matter how large or small, support the Museum to collect, conserve and share our region’s history through exhibitions and education programs.

Financial Donations

Donations to Orange Regional Museum help us to create exhibitions, deliver education and public programs, and look after the Museum’s collection.

Donations over $2.00 are tax deductible. If you are interested in making a financial donation please contact the Museum.

Donating Objects

Donating objects to the collection is a great way of supporting Orange Regional Museum. The Museum collects all kinds of objects, documents, and photographs that tell the stories of our region.

When assessing a collection offer, Museum staff consider the history of the object, its connection to local people, places or events, and its condition.

Please contact us to discuss donating to the collection.

We ask that you do not send items in the mail or leave items with Orange Visitors Information Centre.

Friends of Orange Regional Museum

The Friends of Orange Regional Museum (FORM) is an independent community based organisation for friends and supporters of Orange Regional Museum.

FORM supports the Museum by raising funds to support programs and acquisitions, and raise awareness and community involvement in the Museum.

Volunteering

Orange Regional Museum runs a volunteer program for members of the community to get involved in the work that we do, however it is currently suspended due to COVID-19.
