A great way to discover the unique heritage of the city of Orange is by taking a brief walk along some of Orange’s most beautiful streets. Alternatively you can take one of twenty mapped drives through the region.

Walking Trails

The Orange Heritage Trail connects key historic sites and buildings. These are only a sample of some of the beautifully restored, historic houses and buildings that you will discover on the walk. The walk starts from the Orange Visitor Information Centre and proceeds up Byng Street, taking approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Along the walk you will encounter a series of interpretative signs that will give you additional information.

The East Orange Trail takes a colourful stroll through an historic neighbourhood on the eastern side of the railway tracks in Orange.
