Science in the Kitchen – School Holiday Workshop

By No Comments

Explore scientific principles in the Library Kitchen – with slimy results!

Our STEM Kitchen experts have been busy developing a recipe for the gooiest, slipperiest, stickiest substance known to humanity and they want YOU to test it out in our Library Kitchen.

That’s right; it’s Slime Time, baby!

We will be exploring the scientific principle of chemical reactions and discovering just what it means to be a Non-Newtonian liquid. What a Gooey way to learn!

You definitely won’t be able to eat it; but you will be able to take it home.

One more thing, wear some old clothes, because this can get messy!

We are running two sessions of this activity:

  • Wednesday 7 April 2021 – 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Monday 12 April 2021 – 10:00am-12:00pm

Please only book each child into one of these sessions, as numbers are limited.

This activity is designed for children aged 8 and over.

Tickets available for registration Monday 29 March 2021 at 7:00pm

Should you have any queries, please contact us on 6393 8132 or by email at [email protected]
