Polio Information Session

By No Comments

Polio Australia invites survivors of polio, along with their families and carers, to a free community information session. Years after contracting the virus, many people can experience new symptoms known as the Late Effects of Polio. This can include increasing muscle weakness, pain, fatigue, breathing problems and a range of other issues.

The session will discuss information about the Late Effects of Polio, how to work well with health professionals, and self-management strategies. This will also be an opportunity to connect with other polio survivors in your area.

For more information, contact Steph Cantrill on 0466 719 613, or steph@polioaustralia.org.au.
