Tenders sought for the construction of female changrooms at Jack Brabham Park

By December 23, 2022Tenders

Orange City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the construction of female changerooms at Jack Brabham Park.

Orange City Council, in conjunction with the Orange District Football Association, has been successful in receiving grant funding for the construction of a new changeroom at Sir Jack Brabham Park to allow for the further participation of women in sport.

The park hosts several different sports throughout the year including football, cricket, and softball and in the past couple of years there has been an increase in the number of female players participating in sports. Therefore, there has become a need to have facilities for both male and female players onsite. The site also currently has no separate amenities for the referees to use so we have been able to incorporate a space for them as well.

The project will consist of

  • Construction of new home and away changerooms with toilet and shower amenities
  • Referees area with male and female amenities
  • An accessible bathroom
  • A First Aid room

Closing date: February 15, 2022.

Details available on Tenderlink.
